Credit Repair Organizations Act — Consumer Rights Disclosure

Last updated: March 13, 2026

Consumer Credit File Rights Under State and Federal Law

You have a right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly. However, you are not required to purchase credit repair services in order to dispute inaccurate information. No one can legally remove accurate and current information from your credit report. Any claims to the contrary are false.

You have a right to obtain a copy of your credit report from a credit bureau. You may be charged a reasonable fee. There is no fee, however, if you have been turned down for credit, employment, insurance, or a rental dwelling because of information in your credit report within the preceding sixty days. The credit bureau must provide someone to help you interpret the information in your credit report. You are entitled to receive a free copy of your credit report once every twelve months from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) at www.annualcreditreport.com.

You have a right to sue a credit repair organization that violates the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA). This law prohibits deceptive practices by credit repair organizations.

You have the right to cancel your contract with any credit repair organization for any reason within three (3) business days from the date you signed it.

Credit bureaus are required to follow reasonable procedures to ensure that the information they report is accurate. However, the credit bureaus are not liable for inaccurate information that they received from creditors or other third parties. You may contact the credit bureaus and creditors directly to dispute inaccurate information at no charge.

Your Rights Under CROA

Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 1679-1679j), you have the following rights:

  • The right to cancel your contract within 3 business days of signing, for any reason and without penalty
  • The right to receive a written contract that clearly describes the services to be performed, the total cost, and any guarantees
  • The right to not be charged any fees until services have been fully performed (except for permissible advance charges under applicable state law)
  • The right to sue the credit repair organization for violations of CROA
  • The right to dispute inaccurate information directly with credit bureaus at no charge
  • The right to receive all disclosures required under federal and state law before signing any contract

3-Day Right to Cancel

You may cancel this contract without penalty or obligation at any time before midnight of the third business day after the date on which you signed the contract.

To cancel, you may use any of the following methods:

  • Email: cancel@crizmark.com with subject line "Contract Cancellation"
  • Through your account dashboard under Settings > Subscription > Cancel
  • By written notice mailed to CrizMark AI LLC, Miami, FL

If you cancel within the 3-day period, any payments made will be refunded within 5 business days. No penalty or fee will be charged for exercising your right to cancel.

This right to cancel is guaranteed by federal law under the Credit Repair Organizations Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1679e.

Dispute Directly with Credit Bureaus

You have the right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information on your credit report directly with the three major credit bureaus, free of charge. You are not required to use CrizMark AI or any credit repair service to exercise this right.

No Guarantee of Results

CrizMark AI does not guarantee any specific results. No credit repair organization can guarantee specific outcomes, including the removal of accurate information from your credit report or a specific credit score increase.

Credit repair results depend on numerous factors unique to each individual, including but not limited to:

  • The accuracy and verifiability of items on your credit report
  • The completeness of documentation provided
  • The response and cooperation of credit bureaus and creditors
  • Your ongoing credit behavior and financial actions during the service period
  • Changes in credit scoring models and bureau policies

Any representation, claim, or guarantee of specific results by any credit repair organization is a violation of federal law.

Credit Bureau Dependency

CrizMark AI submits disputes and correspondence on your behalf to credit bureaus and creditors. However, the ultimate decision to investigate, verify, modify, or delete any item on your credit report rests with the credit bureaus and the data furnishers (creditors, lenders, collection agencies).

CrizMark AI cannot control the response time, investigation process, or decisions of credit bureaus and data furnishers. Credit bureaus are required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to investigate disputes within 30 days (or 45 days in certain circumstances), but actual timelines may vary.
